Why Did we Create This Programme?
Most feeding advice is general and doesn’t address the specific sensory, developmental, and nutritional needs of children. This programme is unique because it brings together:
- A Paediatric Dietitian with lived and professional expertise in fussy eating and nutrition.
- A Paediatric Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in autism, sensory integration, and feeding therapy.
Together, we offer a truly holistic, neuro-affirming approach.
Hi I'm Emma

Since graduating with first-class honours in Dietetics and Nutrition, I have spent over nine years working as a Dietitian, specializing in children’s health. My experience spans the NHS, special needs schools, and private practice. Over the years, I have helped countless families tackle feeding challenges, particularly fussy eating, which is now my primary focus.
But my journey isn’t just professional it’s personal too. My daughter Olivia, now 9, is living proof of the transformation possible with the right strategies and support. Olivia suffered from severe reflux as a baby, multiple food allergies, and extreme pickiness, and I spent years feeling the frustration and despair that so many parents face.Today, she eats a good variety of foods, but it was a long road to get there.
In my private practice, I combine my professional expertise as a Paediatric Dietitian with my specialized training as a SOS Paediatric Feeding Therapist to offer compassionate, evidence-based solutions for families. I understand firsthand the practical challenges of implementing dietary advice because I’ve lived them myself.
I’m also proud to collaborate with brands like Just Chill Baby Sleep, Oatly, Mumsnet. My advice has been featured in publications like The Telegraph, The Sun, Mirror, and Metro and shared on numerous top parenting podcasts.
Hi I'm Teresa

I am a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 17 years of experience, specialising in supporting Autistic children and their families. Much of my career has focused on helping neurodiverse children with complex feeding challenges, including ARFID and Paediatric Feeding Disorder.
For years I worked as a National Specialist Occupational Therapist in at a specialist paediatric feeding clinic, where I supported children with complex feeding challenges with a team of feeding experts. In 2024 I founded The Feeding Therapist– a specialist service designed to support families navigating complex and often misunderstood feeding difficulties.
From my years of clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist and in feeding services, I have seen first hand the stress, anxiety and frustration experienced by families of children who are struggling to eat. There are many reasons why Autistic children find eating difficult, such as sensory processing differences, the demands of mealtime routines and even communication challenges in relation to eating and preferred foods.
I am committed to helping neurodiverse children and their families rediscover enjoyment in food and mealtimes, regardless of how complex the situation is. I have helped children and families achieve significant positive changes to eating and mealtimes, by working in a way which is responsive to the child’s individual needs for eating and mealtimes. I believe parents are the experts of their own child and I always strive to provide therapeutic input which is neuro-affirmative, responsive and directed by the child’s level of comfort and safety in relation to food and eating.
What Makes This Programme Different?
Many programmes only focus on nutrition, or they offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Our approach is different because it’s tailored to your child’s unique needs, with combined expertise from both a Dietitian and an Occupational Therapist.
This holistic approach tackles not only what your child eats, but also why they may resist certain foods.
What’s Not Included?
This is not a quick fix, and it’s not about forcing your child to eat. Instead, it’s about building a positive, lasting relationship with food. We know that even in the most challenging of situations, change is always possible. We can help you achieve this.
I really can’t thank you enough for all your help with him it’s our changed our lives so much.
It's also really useful having the materials to fall back on from the 12 week course with Teresa to help if we get stuck!
