Creating Food Confidence Method
Why will this work?
This is my signature 1-2-1 package for families navigating fussy eating, restrictive eating, or ARFID. It’s gentle, evidence-based support for real-life families – personalised every step of the way.

One-to-one Expert Support
Focused 1-2-1 support online session to look at your child and the challenges you face. During the session we will discuss and plan out strategies to expand their diet. Choose from 3 or 6 sessions depending on your family’s needs.

Comprehensive Nutrition Analysis
Using the Libro app, I’ll review the foods you log and provide a clear analysis of your child’s diet. This will show exactly what nutrition they’re getting, including whether they’re getting enough protein, vitamins, and minerals. I’ll highlight any gaps and give practical ways to address them starting with supplements if needed, simple food swaps, and then gradually expanding their diet

Expert Report and Plan
Combining the results from the nutrition analysis with everything we cover in our first consultation, I’ll create a comprehensive report and personalised plan for your child. This will clearly explain the findings and outline the step-by-step strategies we’ll use, so you have everything you need to feel confident implementing the techniques

Feeding Therapy
The 1-2-1 support sessions will use a step-by-step, SOS feeding therapy approach tailored to your child’s age. We turn trying new foods into a fun, game-like experience, giving your child control over their choices. With clear targets, playful strategies, and lots of celebration, we help your selective eater become confident, curious, and adventurous without pressure.
Tracker Sheet
Customised for the strategies we put in place just for your child. So you can both see the progress being made and celebrate it together.

Ebooks
I’ll share with you my exclusive ebook, nutrition guides and mealplans which details tried and tested strategies for helping your selective eater explore new foods.

Ongoing support between consultations
Any queries or questions you may have between our online chats can be raised via email as they arise. I’ll respond just as soon as can, so you are always in the best and most confidence space to keep working through the programme.

Online Resources
You’ll also get access to videos, recipe ideas, games, and books tailored to your child’s age. Learning won’t stop with the support I give you—I want you to draw on a range of resources to keep mealtimes fun, engaging, and full of opportunities for your child to explore new foods.

Food Chaining Masterclass
Food chaining is one of my favourite ways to help children expand their diets so much so, I’ve even been called the “Food Chaining Queen”! In this programme, I’ll share my masterclass and guide you step by step, giving you prompts to build your own food chains and a spreadsheet packed with ideas.
You get all of this and can choose how many 1-2-1 session’s you need.

Results from Parents
Hi, I’m Emma
I absolutely dreaded mealtimes, especially weaning. I literally hated it – it gave me sweaty palms and anxiety attacks. My little girl wouldn’t put food or even toys in her mouth unless I spoon-fed her from a pouch.
It was incredibly stressful, and the only advice I ever received was, “Why don’t you just not feed her? She’ll start eating on her own.”
That it’s exactly why I started Dietitian with a Difference: to support parents who feel the same, who have no one to turn to for guidance.
I’m here because I genuinely enjoy helping families struggling with a fussy eater. I know how stressful it can be because I’ve been there myself.
My daughter also suffered from severe reflux, which left us feeling helpless as we watched her in pain. After a hospital admission, she was diagnosed with a delayed allergy to cow’s milk, and during weaning, we discovered she was allergic to eggs too.
Thanks to my training as a Paediatric Dietitian and a Feeding Therapist, I had the knowledge to create a plan tailored to her needs. And I can honestly say that she is now a very different child exploring and enjoying new foods.
I know I was fortunate to have that background, but many families don’t have the same resources. That’s why I’m passionate about helping parents navigate this journey.
It can feel incredibly lonely when your child refuses foods that you know are packed with the nutrition they need to grow strong and healthy. There’s often guilt and frustration, and sometimes even moments when we lose our temper at the dinner table.
It doesn’t have to be that way. By combining the information you provide with one-to-one consultations, we’ll develop strategies to encourage and inspire your little one to try new foods and discover what they enjoy. Together, we’ll make sure they get all the vitamins and minerals they need, while removing the stress and frustration from mealtimes.
Of course, there’s no “magic cure” for fussy eating but we’ll work together using a gentle, no-pressure approach to make family mealtimes relaxed and positive.
I’m really looking forward to supporting you and your family.
Emma xx
I cannot recommend Emma enough for anyone dealing with fussy eating and nutritional challenges in their children. My 13-year-old had been struggling with fussy eating habits and iron deficiency for a while, and despite my best efforts, it was difficult to ensure she was getting the right nutrients. From the very first consultation, Emma put both of us at ease. She took the time to understand our situation in a non-judgmental and supportive way. Emma gave us so many great ideas for iron-rich foods and strategies to help her overcome her fears around trying new foods such as food chaining.
The ongoing support and encouragement from Emma over several months has made all the difference. Since working with Emma, my daughter has become noticeably more open to trying new foods, and her energy levels have improved dramatically. I’m beyond grateful for the positive impact Emma has had on her health and well-being. If you’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and effective dietitian, Emma is the one to go to!

Highly recommend Emma, I have a 9yr old with very restricted eating and we are so glad we found her! Emma has helped us with tips and techniques to try, she is so professional, experienced and friendly and always there if you need support.

We first consulted Emma around 6 months ago when we were facing issues with our daughters eating, with the right guidance and support we overcome the challenges and meal times are no longer an anxious moment for us as parents! We cannot recommend Emma enough, as a professional and also a mother herself who has been through the challenges of having a fussy eater we were instantly put at ease and felt comfortable opening up about the issues we were facing!

I have been working with Emma for nearly 8 months and I can honestly say she has been the most supportive consistent professional in a long list of professionals working with my son. He has a very complex relationship with food and unfortunately now requires a lot of intervention to ensure his nutrition but Emma has always listened,Guided and advocated for him to schools and to GP’s. We were on the verge of hospital admissions and potentially tube feeding before Emma so I’m so grateful to have her helping us!! Would recommend her to ANYONE who is struggling with their child’s eating and drinking, she really is worth her weight in gold.

It has been great working with Emma! I feel like she listens, understands and goes above and beyond with us on our food journey with our son. She has useful advice, and is also coming up with great suggestions to help mealtimes become less stressful. We have seen progress with our son and are adapting better habits and routines to help him on his journey. I would recommend Emma to any parent who is having difficulties with fussy eating children!
