Who I Am and why I do this work

Hi, I’m Emma – a registered paediatric dietitian and a mum who’s lived through the emotional rollercoaster of fussy eating.

As Seen In

I’ve Walked This Road Myself

When my own child refused food, I knew what the textbooks said. But in the reality of daily life – the tears, the worry, the guilt – I realised what most advice was missing:

  • Compassion
  • Personalisation
  • A truly child-led approach

That experience changed how I practise. I began specialising in feeding therapy and fussy eating, combining clinical tools with empathy, lived experience, and a flexible, family-centred style.

What Makes My Approach Different

Personalised and child-led

Rooted in lived experience and expert training

Calm, realistic support - no judgement

I’m not here to lecture you or hand you a rigid plan. Instead, I’ll work with you to:

👉 Understand what’s really going on with your child’s eating

👉 Make food feel safe again – for them and for you

👉 Find progress that’s sustainable, realistic, and built on trust

Whether you’re navigating sensory challenges, ARFID, or toddler pickiness, I’ll help you take small steps that lead to calmer mealtimes and less worry.

My Credentials

Outside of clinic, you’ll usually find me with my family cooking, out walking in the countryside, or attempting (and usually failing!) to grow veggies. I’m also kept busy looking after my 21-year-old cat, who definitely rules the house.

I love colour, connection, and real conversations – and I bring that energy into my work with families too.
